This post from Nuzzi was buried in another thread... so I decided it deserved better visibility. NUZZI's annual NCAA pools (which are really fun) are available. This message is from NUZZI:

Hello All, since you guys are my favorite pool players, here are a few links for early access to the NCAA Tourney Pools.

The Bigs: NCAA Pool

Syracusefan.com (somewhat) exclusive: NCAA Pool

I upped the 'Cuse board from 10 to 20 this year. Sorry OrangeExtreme, the small multiple payments were becoming annoying.

I also switched back from Losing Team/Winning Team to Higher Seed/Lower Seed. I liked Lower Seed/Higher Seed more and it seemed to be the consensus that it was better. Hopefully, that does not confuse anyone. Every year I get someone thinking it is the other way around and that they won when they did not.

Anyway, I hope you will join, and, if so, good luck! I will be sending the mass email on Sunday.

I definitely missed the original post, thanks for posting Joyce. This made the tourney extra exciting last year! Thanks to Nuzzi for putting this together.

Dang! Wish I didn’t miss this before. This was a lot of fun.

I know this is a stupid semantics question. Is the higher seed #1 or #16? Higher meaning better team?

I have two entries and both are double numbers. On the one hand, guess it doesn’t matter who’s higher or lower. On the other hand, I need blowouts and it’s so hard not to root for a close game.

We got a 5 5 combo hit today.

Who fouls w/ less than 2 seconds to go in a game you cannot win, and who called the foul, probably O'Connell.

I have not been close on any of my sets of numbers and then, yes, a missed free throw and a made three when the game was already over. The numbers are ... yes, yes, ... oh fiddlesticks.

PS Two or three years ago I had the winning numbers in the championship game with a meaningless bucket at the end. What goes around comes around

I had the Super Bowl pool won a few years ago ... until Seattle called hat stupid pass play at the goal line ... that cost them the game, and me the pool.

I feel for you. We both know what it feels like when things that do not need to happen happen. There is always the next game.

Got a gift Friday with Duke/Houston staying at their final score for the final :45.
