Notre Dame Game Day Thread

can't wait until these clowns play Alabama and see the other side of referee bias

JC, some of these plays have to start falling in SU's favor now. Unless probability doesn't exist in the Bronx.

That’s not a catch

Nope.

Always found it funny how you just how to reach the ball across an imaginary plane as you run anywhere near the end zone to get a TD, but if you fall down in the end zone you basically have to control the ball until you get back up to get a TD.

But by the rules, not a TD.

Lol what’s with nbc’s bumper knockoff music of hits from 3-10 years ago

SU has lost this game, but go back at look at that Johnson TD (that was called a drop). He has a hold of the ball, crosses the goal line, and his ass goes down on the ground before he loses the ball. It was a lot closer than it looked at first glance. Should have at least been a review. Then an obvious fumble that is never reviewed to start the second. Those are two giant plays that should have been reviewed and never were. Wouldn't change the outcome, but maybe it makes a slight difference.
Johnson dropped it

We’ve had Book in our sights all day and he always extends the play enough to make a play. He’s a good player. Your DB’s can only hold up so long.

Well, progress was definitely made this year but this is eye opening as to how much work still remains.
