Maverik Division I Media Poll: Reacting to Opening Weekend
The votes are in for the first in-season Maverik Media Poll. In the volatile early-season voting, Denver has leapt into the top spot after an impressive win against fellow Top 20 team Air Force.
Maryland is No. 2; the Terps dropped Navy on Saturday, and North Carolina is No. 3 after a low-scoring win against Furman.
Duke took the biggest hit, dropping to No. 15 after its loss to the Falcons, who move up three spots. Johns Hopkins was a big winner, up five spots into the Top 5.
