The Top 5 remain unchanged in the Week 2 Maverik Media Poll, and Army’s rise continues. Penn State is No. 1, though neck and neck with No. 2 Virginia. Yale remains in third. Maryland held on to the No. 4 spot with its comeback win against Penn — the second-straight comeback for the Terps. Syracuse moves into the Top 5 ahead of a showdown with Army. The Black Knights have been the big winners of the first part of the season. At 3-0, Army has beaten two Top 20 teams (at the time of the game) and has moved up to No. 9 in the poll. The Black Knights have outscored opponents 51-9.

If Army started off in top ten, they arguably could be ranked as high as fourth based off their dominating wins. No other team has had as an impressive start.

"The Top 5 remain unchanged" vs. "Syracuse moves into the Top 5".
