Yes, that narrative needed to die a quiet, forgettable death. Most of North America gets cold in the winter and yes even gets snow, not just CNY.

The conspiratorial side of me wonders if the non-newhouse sports media types are the ones that have really perpetuated this.

The first words out of the mouth of the guy interviewing our All-American recruit was to compare the snowfall totals of his hometown of Chattanooga with Syracuse. Gimme a break.
