Probably based on the optimism coming off of the 2013 season, when HCSS could have run for mayor.
Funny thing is, next year we'll be better on the field but lower in attendance.

Don't worry, after this year's debacle it'll be down next year.

It's from not losing the PSU game to Metlife. Had that game been played in the Dome two years ago, I doubt that we would have had a higher attendance. Hosting the defending national champs probably helped, too.

As a clarifying point, I know that the PSU game was part of a 1-1-1 from the get go, and I'm not criticizing it (not that I would anyway - I like the Metlife games). I just think that it understated our attendance last year.

It's weird how many of those 40,000 looked to be dressed like bleachers - at least on tv. But I can understand how hard it was to figure out what to wear this year. :) Just kidding - revenue is revenue and that's a pretty good number.

not with Lsu and Clemson at the dome

Thank goodness for the FCS team. They bumped the attendance AND provided the only home win.

I have to say, I'm quite confident we start 1-0 next season.

That's what great football will do for you
