TE Pierce, great added weapon

Good reference. We should have yes, covered the 3.5 . I didnt bet it, thing is we actually started working on the clock most of the 4th quarter with a 7 pt lead . Zero killer instinct with a veteran qb.

There was never a 7-point margin in the 4th quarter. The scores were 20-16-->27-16-->27-24.

And, I think they did a great job milking the clock for the last 7 minutes.

As many have said it takes a while to figure out the playbook and also help block since the O-line struggled early this year. Add to this Dungey getting comfortable throwing to him and getting the confidence Pierce will make the plays. Y'all have to remember, Dungey hasn't had a TE to throw to before and sometimes that comfort level takes time. Let's be honest, ED is going to look Ish and Erv first most times unless he sees a gap for Pierce. Now, he may check Pierce first and that opens up a whole new can of worms for opposing D's.

Pierce has swag, no doubt. He is a real talent, and seems to love contact which fires up both the crowd and his teammates. You could feel it yesterday. Great game.

Loved watching him in action yesterday. If he could of held onto that shuffle pass and get into the end zone at the end that would have been a great finish to a very productive game for him.

You could tell his conditioning isn’t up to par yet with the rest of the team...a lot of upside with him.
