In short CIA operative (Jeff Bridges) past is back to get him. When he was active, his nickname in Afghanistan was the beast who kills everything. Lithgow is his former handler who must now hunt him down to protect his own past.

Its a very slow burn of char. study. I enjoy it. the 2 guys playing the flashback scenes really did nail the 2 leads..
