the upside of Josh Black not playing

Just seems like it would be a hard sell when he's been in pads on the sideline, and we've left him off a couple injury reports. Last week he was listed in the Probable section. Wouldn't that all be reviewed if you wanted to do some kind of medical redshirt?

It really doesn't matter since he wasn't injured in 2015.

Pickard will be a Junior in 2018 and a Senior in 2019, and that's it for his 5 year eligibility window.

OK I guess I didnt realize the medical redshirt was only for a previously injured player. Makes sense now that I am thinking about it and how rare a 6th year is.
