In an another amazing accomplishment, we passed UCLA in all time win percentage this year, moving into 6th all time (Assuming my math is correct). Tomcat, you'll have to update your signature!

Coming into the season, we were essentially tied. The all time records were as follows (according to Wikipedia):

6 UCLA 1728 W 769 L .6920
7 Syracuse 1844 W 822 L .6917

Syracuse went 30-10 and UCLA went 25-10, allowing us to just edge them out for 6th all time best winning pct.

New:

6 Syracuse 1874 W 832 L .6925
7 UCLA 1753 W 779 L .6923

Some people will argue that they were all home games.

I know we don't have the titles , but minus the titles how are we not nearing "blue blood status"? With the talent flowing in a couple more runs and another title for JB would have to cement that.

I updated it a week ago or so as per rstone's alert message to me...

The list only gives the Top 50 programs in terms of wins. So if you sort that list by winning percentage at the end, it looks like we are tied for 5th with UCLA.

Beneath that list there is a link to what was the highest winning percentage list.

It will be a while before we enter the Top 5 in that category.

Cheers,
Neil

Yeah it will take some time. That's IF we ever crack the top 5. Which I think if it did happen, it would be UNLV that fell out of it.

BTW, anybody else find it funny that Kansas DOESN'T have the oldest established Basketball team?
