I think that Adam is a class act and is allowing Jim Red and the University to manage the transition. He doesn't need to post anything on social media. Jim has heard from him and I'm sure coach Red as well. Class acts don't steal the spotlight.
What’s he going to add that’s helpful. There’s plenty of time for congrats good will next chapters blah blah blah

Are you kidding? On top of his salary he gets millions from Nike every year and probably a lot of money through local endorsements. He lives in central NY, one of the cheapest places to live, if he doesn’t have a fat wallet he’s doing something wrong.

Exactly. The Skaneatales estate cost him 5 million dollars. You don’t throw that kind of money down on a house unless you’re loaded.
Kids are gone. Everything has probably been paid off for years. His salary probably goes straight to the bank account…or his Scrooge McDuck money diving pit.

Can anyone edit Jim's face into the Duck Tales opening?

Exactly. You’re paying to make sure we have good players here but we want you to pay for facilities too. So get out of here. It makes no sense.
Meh. No school turns down money unless there is a significant hurdle to overcome and even then, most don't care.
For example, the University of North Dakota uses a hockey arena on its campus named after Ralph Engelstad. The late casino magnate, who spent $110 million to build the venue, hosted “Hitler birthday parties” and opposed the retirement of the “fighting Sioux” as the school’s official athletic mascot. The University of Missouri still has an endowed economics chair named for Kenneth L. Lay, the disgraced founder of the Enron energy company. Lay gave the school $1.1 million in Enron stock in 1999, two years before the company went bankrupt and seven years before he was found guilty of securities fraud and other misdeeds.
When they do break ties or sour on a relationship it is usually when promised checks don't show up or the relationship otherwise becomes a one-way street. AW is very public about most everything he does, so it's unlikely he's been a big donor but asked SU to keep it quiet.

You realize he’s one of the top 2 or 3 donors to the athletics program? And you realize he’s helped about a dozen athletes with NIL?
I’m not the one with the problem with him. I can careless what he does with his money or Doesn’t. I actually like following him and checking out his cool toys and how much fun he has with his money. The university is the one with the issue.

And he worked until he was 78. That’s a lot of extra years of accumulating income at a high level.

We get a third probation, what happens to us? And, if it extends to other sports besides bball, what is the knock on impact?

Dude is posting pics with Bilzerian and Shkreli and announcing everything he does. Everything. This is assuming that everything he has said he would do is happening without issue.

To be clear, I'm not saying we're the only college that has to be wary a bit, it's just the way it is, I understand this is a dance because of how much he contributes, and I get the situation with other athletes.

But anyone on here that is wondering why the school isn't blindly fawning and giving thanks (and I am not saying you are saying this) and MAY want to distance themselves from him is being willfully ignorant or blinded by allegiance.

You guys miss the point. All HCs especially the name ones have outside deals with various company’s and also have radio and TV deals. JB isn’t unique in any way. But when it comes to actual salary there’s been a discount.

I responded to someone who said he didn’t have money.

You realize my post has nothing to do with any of that. I was responding to the posts who claim he doesn’t donate anything. Even though I may have replied to the wrong post.
