Is playing well at all (just counting the 3 games against quality opponents) that falls directly on the coaches. Yea Lydon has sucked. Yea well so has everyone else.

UConn a quality opponent...their RPI was 242 at tip off tonight! :bang:

Anybody want to bet $10 that this team finishes with Boeheims worse record?

Only two players came with a passion to play tonight... Dajuan Coleman and Matt Moyer.

Moyer was engaged in the game, even if it was just on the sideline. That's more than a lot of his teammates can say. Maybe we shouldn't have redshirted him after all.

Thanks for hyping up Howard and Lydon all summer! I really believed you!!:(:(
I know, almost as bad as saying that this is one of your best teams ever. Boeheim is turning himself into a joke. Let's hope he turns it around.

Kind of telling because this team is far too talented to be even close to that
This isn't about talent. Something is profoundly amiss. We had a lot of missing parts last year and looked 1000x better than this.

Talent is surely part of it.

Largest issue remains no leaders on the floor. Extremely frustrating to watch the Syracuse five on the floor pass the ball around the top of the zone like it is a hot potato and absolutely no one wants to take the shot. They pass faster and faster so not to be holding the ball with 2 seconds on the shot clock. Somebody has to step up and lead this team. It can not be the coaches. Too many times tonight we ended up with Coleman or Lydon standing outside the NBA 3 point line holding the basketball. Get under the basket and pound it.

Not giving up yet but it is very difficult to watch with zero improvement.

from the 9 minute mark of the second half we were 1-13 down the stretch until white hit that late three. A couple of those shots were turnovers by comparison but that shouldn't win you any game

imo the last 3 years we have lacked guys scoring off the dribble especially early in the season.
That is the biggest reason we have started out slow last year and this year imo.
We were missing threes and nobody took over inside the arc, and I am not blaming dajuan for that one.
Last years team would not have lost this game, and imo we are ahead offensively where they were at this point. So what gives?
Gbinije wouldn't have even been past the three point line at this point last year.
