In this week’s Media Poll, the top five remain with No. 1 Maryland leading the way and No. 2 North Carolina, No. 3 Duke, No. 4 Boston College and No. 5 Stony Brook following accordingly.
No. 7 Syracuse jumps two spots, while No. 8 Penn State follows after topping No. 9 Northwestern in Big Ten action, 14-10. No. 10 Stanford rounds out the top ten after handing USC its first MPSF loss of the season, 12-6, yesterday afternoon in Palo Alto.
Hofstra, Cornell and USC are also receiving votes in this week’s top 20 rankings.
