The No. 1 Maryland Terrapins lead the charge into week eight, undefeated at 9-0 and sitting in the top spot for the seventh consecutive week. No. 2 Boston College (9-0) sits right behind their former ACC foe, having topped No. 3 North Carolina (8-2) on Saturday, 10-9, in overtime fashion. Rounding out the top five is Duke and Northwestern, both tied at No. 4. The Wildcats reclaim a spot in the top five after defeating No. 6 Syracuse yesterday afternoon, 11-10. The Blue Devils (9-1) suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of No. 7 Virginia, 13-10.
