This dude is a frickin studddd. The dominance and fluidity of the wide outs we are targeting is exactly what the doctor ordered for our fast turf. We have been on the struggle bus with grabbing a full stable of receivers “who have it all” (size, speed, route running, hands). I think that trend is clearly going to end.

It's amazing, after being told for so many years, that we couldn't recruit big time players. Now Fran is recruiting those types of players.
Plus he's building a base of underdeveloped players who have measurables that he can coach up to build depth.
That will be beneficial in future years with high school coaches sending him film on those type of players.

It's still amazing to me, but you get the feeling the dam is breaking and maybe this class decides they will be the ones to bring this program back to the forefront. Coach Fran seems to be the answer to the prayers we've had over the years to become a respected program again.
