It'll be interesting to see if it gets better with Gbinije out there. Can really use a scary-big lineup at times. A lot like the 2012-13 team. 1/2- Mike G, 1/2- Cooney, 3/4- Chris Mc, 3/4- Roberson, 5- Christmas. Even with 8'4" BJ out there, you're not giving up much height.

I think McFarlane has played himself behind everyone recently. Don't think you can run this O (then again, what might the O look like next year?) without being able to catch a pass. Morris and McFarlane have been terrible with that. Erv should be the starter next year.

The only thing I disagree with is DMC. I think Erv will start next year, hopefully about 10lbs heavier. He just hasn't shown any of the versatility we were expecting.

He's been on the wrong end of a lot of the unfortunate touchdowns this year.

There's no one on SU's roster who could have made the play Blakeney made over Whigham. There's no one on SU's roster that could make half the plays that Crowder makes. To say they have no talent is completely incorrect. Duke's ranked for a reason. They've got some good playmakers.

Hunt had ND, Lville, MD... Long looked okay vs. FSU, who had nothing on him. Okay vs. WF. Terrible vs. Clemson and NCSU... It's hard to judge. I'll take Hunt looking mediocre vs. good competition against Long looking mediocre vs. worse competition AND having a seemingly competent OC.

Slightly better? Hunt saved last year's entire season. I'm sure you were hooting and hollering for Drew Allen, too. A Southern football player! Prayers answered!

Everyone throwing Shafer under the bus under these circumstances shouldn't have the right to cheer for the team when they succeed next year under full strength.

Damn, if only Shafer were a healer to magically heal all ~20 players on the injury report. God, what a terrible head coach! We should be kissing his ass that this team wasn't beaten by 50 today. 10 points with the offensive personnel he's forced to put out there may be a minor miracle.
