Could the nonconference portion of the season better? Sure. But those were some very , very good teams. Officials didn't help us , our own errors hurt us , yet every obtainable goal that could have been achieved is still there for the team. The offense could ignite into a high scoring machine and the defense has played the way the coaches drew up the game plans , except a few plays in the Maryland game. Louisville is the real test , if the team puts together a great game , then the conference crown is still there to be had. HCSS and his guys deserve at least one more shot with full Orange Nation support.

Unfortunately, we are pretty banged up now. If you think those were good teams, just wait. This is going to be tough sledding. I look at this season as one to temper the kids with fire. Next year will be our year. Time starts then. Whatever we can accomplish this year will be savored.

If we were in the Coastal we could look forward to conference play. Until our talent level improves as long as Florida State, Clemson recruit top 15 classes we
will be playing for 5-3 during conference play.

Their offense can score with anybody in the country , when their D gets healthy , they look out B1G. Me thinks they beat Ahia this Saturday.
