Brandon last night passed Kris Joseph to become the winningest player ever in SU history, with 118 career victories.

His 4 assists gave him 423 for his career, tying him with Leo Rautins for 10th all time.

His 20 points put him at 1522, moving him past Jason Hart and Dennis Duval for 19th all time.

Is this the programs most wins over a 4 year stretch too? Or did KJ miss some games.

I'd have to imagine it's the winningest stretch in program history. I mean, two more wins and that would be an average of 30 wins per season over a four year period. That's pretty freaking hard to do.

I don't have the table right in front of me but I believe that KJ missed a total of 5 games including 2 victories . . . SU won a total of 119 games over his 4 years, which remains the highest 4 year total ever (until Saturday, that is)

The six overtime win over UConn counts x6.

Well done Brandon. Thanks for a great four years, and congrats on a stellar career at SU.

i'd be curious where he ranks per game.

football and basketball, there are just so many more games now, makes more sense to break it down more.

it would be interesting to take his points and assist numbers and see who else is in that club. not sure where that data lives. how many of the 9 and 18 above him are on both lists

i don't know that this is perfect, this is only among people in the top 100 total points and total assists

You had me until Deshaun Williams, he just ruins that list.

on that list, only Billy, Sherm and Gerry join Triche in having played beyond the Sweet 16. and none of them but BT has 118 wins or an .825 career winning percentage.

and none of them has 118 wins
the whole point of doing it per game is so that it's not skewed by the number of games.

and the number of wins depends on lots of things (teammates, competition)

i'll stick to just looking at the per game numbers, thanks

How about most starts in SU history? He's got to be close, if not already #1. I know DC was probably #1 heading into this season.

.825 is not skewed by the number of games played, but that doesn't aid in goring your ox so feel free to ignore it

he passed DC in career starts during the BET; he tied DC for #2 in most games played last night and will tie Stevie Thompson for #1 on Satruday.

then you should've left it at that. i happen to think the list i posted is pretty good company and is a little more accurate. lots of good players not on there. i wouldn't post that short list if i were trying to gore an ox. you are uncharacteristically dopey when responding to me for some reason. if anything he looks better on my list than taking them separately

my apologies if I misinterpret you, but it seemed that your intention is to diminish BT's place in SU history as a mere compiler, rather than as a winner. maybe I'm too sensitive to all his detractors.

as a note, sometime next season CJ should top 1500 points and 800 boards and will probably finish in the top 15 in both categories . . . but he and Baye are 33 and 32 games behind Brandon, respectively, in career wins so it will take a huge year to catch him.

once again you suck at mind reading. i put him in a club of 13. your lists had 10 and 19 on them..

and a list of 1, don't forget - arguably the most important list

a couple of weeks ago I also pointed out his membership in an exclusive list of 6
