128 Yards Total Offense...

My biggest concern looking forward is our running backs.

We need a standout back, and I don't see one.

Our RBs are just fine. They just had absolutely putrid blocking this year and the inability to pass allowed defenses to stack the box.

Rbs? That's your concern? You have to have to have to have a qb that can play to compete in the acc. Second you need a unified oline. Just abou any rb looks good if you have that.

Interesting, because I think OL might be the biggest concern.

Would anyone like to choose WRs? Not sure if argue with you.

I already know who chooses OC.

Adds up to a big ol' mess. I don't see a quick way out of it.

And there are people worried that if we hired a new staff we'd have to rebuild.

It's like worrying about an earthquake as the tornado approaches your house.

Our backs are fine?

I'm not seeing it, a healthy line or not.

QB is another issue.

It's going to be Hunt next year, and beyond that, I don't know.

I'm not putting a lot of stock in our current group.

Our offensive line was banged up and I'm not sure what it will look like next year. But they better be able to run block.

Our offensive production these past few games are just sad 128 yards at halftime is bad. What the hell do our coaches do during practice. I mean football favors the offense and calling us offensively challenged would be kind.

Yeah it's a complete stuff$how, I'd agree.

Our four backs are the most overrated group on this team. The OL and quarterbacks are awful, but our backs haven't scored a touchdown since VILLANOVA. Enough said!

Our WR corp will be fine. Ish is a true freshman and will be very good. Even with craptastic QB play he's been sniffing around the record book. Estime and Broyld come back next year and are at the very least competent.

Phillips, Strickland, Morris, and McFarlane (and Fredrickson?) are good backs. Someone will emerge.

QB and OL worry me the most.

And maybe Lesters system helps all of the above.

Lester was quoted in the paper after the game, that things will be better with a 5th year Senior, Hunt, back next year…Really? In 4 games, he had one TD pass…One TD pass in 4 games….What kind of passer is that? If we are hanging our hopes for next year on Hunt, we are really in big trouble. We need better players. I am all for coaching and schemes, but at the end of the day, players win games. Just got rinsed watching the first half of Bama. vs Auburn. You see receivers flying down the field, QB's throwing tight spirals with pace hitting big receivers(6-2, 215) with speed in stride,,,guys running 4.4 forties running under deep passes. these are college kids…same age as our players. The difference is in players, not the coaches. Sabin would not be the coach he is…caching the players that we have at the Cuse.

No one will argue any of that. But we're not Bama and in the SEC, with a multiple NC head coach located in a recruiting hotbed.

I agree that pinning everything on Hunt is dangerous. But I don't want to see any of the guys who played this year after Hunt went down until they are a. Ready or b. In mop up duty

So the guy carving up Bama right now was a DB at Georgia in 2011...but scoring points is all about talent and not scheme.

RB's. Oh my, I'm starting to hear all sorts of crazy stuff. REALLY, our RB's aren't very good?

Our backs are good?

Which one?

Our backs aren't good and wouldn't be playing for the teams we play. They don't have speed and they don't make people miss.

That's just silly talk. It really is. Our OL was as bad this year as it's ever been. Ain't nobody gaining a lot behind this line.

No, it really isn't. We don't have a back that would start on any good team we played.

A lot of truth here, but our backs just aren't that good.

I've been watching games all evening and every team has backs that are bigger, faster and stronger than our backs.

It's plainly obvious.

We need a back with NFL potential. None in the program right now.

what round does PTG go in? Do we have a back on the team right now that ever gets drafted. I don't mean makes a team, we clearly don't have that. I mean gets drafted?

Yeah, all the sudden a consensus of "best depth we've had in years" by every coach and fan that's seen all these kids play, goes to, all of them aren't any good. An entire group of backs?...right.. It's a tad more deep then that.

Delone Carter, Walter Reyes, Antwon Bailey, Curtis Brinkley, Dee Brown, Jerome Smith.

Each of them had at least one 1,000-yard season.

Do you see anyone in our current group capable of that?

This is a different statement than what I responded to, which was that they wouldn't play for any team we've played against.

I don't think any of our OL would have started for the better teams on our schedule this year.
