128 Yards Total Offense...

Being drafted in the NFL as a RB is a ridiculous barometer of how good the RB's are on your team. Completely ridiculous and shows a complete lack of understanding of the college game and NFL drafting combined.

Posts on this board have become absolutely insane. It's obvious many people look at our team in a complete vacuum.

A lot of truth here, but our backs just aren't that good.

I've been watching games all evening and every team has backs that are bigger, faster and stronger than our backs.

It's plainly obvious.

We need a back with NFL potential. None in the program right now.

It's plain obvious your making things up to help your argument.

Delone Carter, Walter Reyes, Antwon Bailey, Curtis Brinkley, Dee Brown, Jerome Smith.

Each of them had at least one 1,000-yard season.

Do you see anyone in our current group capable of that?

Didn't PTG run for over 1,000 under Marrone? Either the players are regressing, or the staff just isn't that good.

EDIT: I looked it up, he ran for 831 as a Sophmore.

Staff
Offense
Running qb (Hunt had 52 rushes in 6 games, more carries per game than Gulley in all but 6 games)
a rotation like smith has circus music going on in his headset (goes with staff I guess)
banged up OL

We'll see next year.

Not making up anything.

Our current group of backs are nothing special.

Who's talking about being "special"? We are one of the worst offensive teams in the country. We have quite a few pretty good RB's. Coaching has made them look bad. I don't care about special, I just want RB's that can play the position effectively and we have at least 3 - 4 that have shown they are capable of that.

Jerome Smith and PTG weren't "special" but they sure as hell won us a lot of games. We have twice as many RB's that look capable of producing at the same level that those two did. It's not lack of talent.

My biggest concern looking forward is our running backs.

We need a standout back, and I don't see one.
We have too many RB's as is. It's every other position on offense that needs help
