Just goes to show, after playing top 10 teams, playing #17 was like a practice session

Their highly regarded offense failed to beat our lowly defense. This was a trap game for them, they have Miami on Thursday, I was never convinced they would beat Miami anyway. Two losses, back to back would do some nice work on the Blacksburg arrogance about being a great team. I never appreciated Beamerball scheduling (Rutgers stole the playbook on that!) and they won many games because they beat up patsies. Still, our defense is coming together. Get back a few of the injured players and this defense will have some depth. Add in new HCDB recriots and this defense could be as fun to watch as the offense is becoming.

Anyway, I enjoyed this win on so many levels and only one matters, Syracuse gets the W!
