This is neat. I learned that in HS my father in law was coached by a 'Billy Thompson'. Billy was the first 3 sport letter winner at Syracuse. He played on the 1937-39 teams, and with Wilmeth Sidat-Singh.

My wife's dad went to Peddie. Billy thompson went to Peddie 'as well, in 35. He returned as a teacher & AD from '39 to '84. He was a 'Great guy'. The kids called him "Daga" (Daga, Daga, Daga), for "onondaga". His oldest son, Wm. (Bucky) was in my FIL's class and a good friend. Had two other boys younger. His wife was the school nurse.
Are there any other sources of information for these old Cuse hoops teams?
