Great moment at the 1:21:00 mark when we went for two to tie the game. Graves pitched to David Walker, and who then threw it back to Graves.

Great play. Irritating how players are possibly injured under the pile and rather than getting out of the way or helping people up, a few people just wanted to get on TV while being in the way.

I know one of them. He posts here. Out yourself, Johnny Utah.

(not you Millhouse, you're been out longer than anyone cares to remember).

Who was the color commentator for this local SU Sports channel back in the day? His voice is very recognizable to me but I don't know his name. He might be the worst sportscaster in history at any level.

I don't care if they wear paper bags if we can get those crowds and energy back in that place

Really cool to have a chance to watch these games. I lived in GA at the time and during the days of regional tv, I always got stuck with another game besides Syracuse.

That was back when if the game you wanted wasn't on, you would have to pay to watch it on ppv.

I remember that now. I was a high school student at the time which didn't pay very well so I didn't use that option much :)

I know Chip and Millhouse are still insanely jealous of the fact I was in a pile of grown men.

I had to laugh when they are playing Texas and then next week's game flashes up on the screen versus #21 Ohio State. So I took a look, SU played 5 Top 25 teams that year. They ended the season at #17 BC and then at home vs #1 Miami, lost by 6 pts. They also played @ #24 West Virginia. What a team.

That's either Dale Drypolcher

How did that guy get a job in sports broadcasting? He sounds like a fan who was just pulled from the crowd to help call a game. I have the 1987 WVU game on tape, and after we scored a TD at the end, he was yelling "kick the extra point!"

Except they prefer the pile along with six gallons of massage oil and a safe word.

Worked his way into it. Helped out on broadcasts and hung around and hung around until he got the color job.

Also, please please please put the WVU game on YouTube.
