Great moment at the 1:21:00 mark when we went for two to tie the game. Graves pitched to David Walker, and who then threw it back to Graves.
Great play. Irritating how players are possibly injured under the pile and rather than getting out of the way or helping people up, a few people just wanted to get on TV while being in the way.
Really cool to have a chance to watch these games. I lived in GA at the time and during the days of regional tv, I always got stuck with another game besides Syracuse.
That was back when if the game you wanted wasn't on, you would have to pay to watch it on ppv.

Who was the color commentator for this local SU Sports channel back in the day? His voice is very recognizable to me but I don't know his name. He might be the worst sportscaster in history at any level.
was thinking the same thing. Play at the 1:55 mark. I think Dino would approve. That was a heck of a call and play to go deep to Ismail and put the game away.
I know one of them. He posts here. Out yourself, Johnny Utah.
(not you Millhouse, you're been out longer than anyone cares to remember).
That's either Dale Drypolcher
I know Chip and Millhouse are still insanely jealous of the fact I was in a pile of grown men.
We line a lineman named chuck bull again
Worked his way into it. Helped out on broadcasts and hung around and hung around until he got the color job.How did that guy get a job in sports broadcasting? He sounds like a fan who was just pulled from the crowd to help call a game. I have the 1987 WVU game on tape, and after we scored a TD at the end, he was yelling "kick the extra point!"
