The good news: the three upperclassmen QBs all looked more poised than our backups last year. I know the OL and Skill player blocking also played a huge part in last year’s disappointment. The Frosh QB looks intriguing, reminded me of Marvin Graves. Hopefully he plays up to Marvin's level of success.

Special Teams FG and punting looks very good. Kickoff length? Were they practicing goal line kicks?

OL looked pretty good, cautiously optimistic they can be ACC average or slighty above average.

The defense overall looked solid. They did create pressure at times. I didn't spend much time looking at the defense...so I can't say much.

The bad news: I'm not sure we can draw much other that the QB play is in good shape and the team looks well coached. I think Angeli wins the fall camp if he is close to 100%. Odom obviously does some things better than Angeli but interceptions need to decrease to really push Angeli.

I still think a bowl game is in the cards despite the tough schedule.

I'll have to disagree with you on the schedule. It's really not that hard and much easier than last year. Every tougher game is at home. A bowl with a healthy Angeli is the bare minimum. I would be very disappointed with only 6 wins

The main thing to take is that with about AVG QB play we probably win 7-8 games last year and with really good play maybe 9-10 and we have lots of places to get better.

I say 9-3 or 10-2. We would have been in every game even Miami. When u have 0 chance at a score from your gonna show weaknesses. Honestly with our new defensive guy im good with what happened as coach learned what needed to be done. Now we are good.
