last 5 minutes and OT the zone came to life and was VERY EFFECTIVE

if bell and benny can play the zone well...the zone will be the 100% defense and do well

JB wants to be able to tweak and the zone gives him the chance to be the puppetmaster of the game

before that stretch, though, jesse was getting shredded in the paint...it looked bad

Could we bring in a rebounding guru? Our players just don’t typically have that rebounding mentality. Roberson did at times and when he was interested he could rebound at a high level out of the zone. There’s something more than the defense causing the rebounding woes that persist year after year.

I think our four, point guard coaches can handle it.

in which zone doesn't help

i wonder why teams that play zone at other levels dont have the same problem rebounding. it still comes down to positioning.. 75% of the time they player out of position in the zone is not in the spot the rebound goes to.. our biggest issue is seem to want to help when the ball gets passed inside too much.
