I agree. And what he has done is nothing short of amazing. Ultimately, he is recruiting based on previous relationships with players from top schools and selling a picture and a future. And if he is even half the coach he is recruter, I think we will be fine. And the coaching staff seems to be really strong.

One small caveat, I feel like unreal expectations are being set right now. Hell, keep it rolling. But if the season does not turn out as we expect. Which is totally plausible with the number of new players and new coaches, a picture is now a reality and you’re no longer selling a dream.

Don’t get this message confused. What has occurred in the past couple weeks since I was glued to this site with the Dan Mullen watch is nothing short of amazing. And I really can’t fathom what we are seeing. And to think there were some people on this website that wanted to stick with Dino because he never rocked the boat and the next hire could be worse.

Bottom line, after locking in all these studs. Get to work on the field and change the perception of the program where it matters most. Which will help recruiting even further.

Then he will become JB. Let's be honest. JB's early success through say... 2012 was basically due to talent. I don't think it was the "rolled the ball out" club but it wasn't far from that. Talent wins the day. EVERY day

It think S&C is the key. Better shape/stronger equals fewer injuries. our S&C stinks, or stunk

Yes, but new regime, new excitement, but we need to prove it. I also can’t imagine what the Fran Brown recruiting steam will look like coming off a top 40 class and a 4-0 record next year. Can’t be 4-0 without being 1-0 etc.

If Fran and co can actually coach to go with this recruiting craziness we might legitimately become a NE power overnight

I just think back to his presser where Coach Fran said they will outwork everyone and be in pads hitting more in practice. I also think about what Villari said about culture under Dino compared to what he saw at Michigan. I expect, under Fran, a team that is ready to play and compete every Saturday.
