Also we couldn’t rebound then either who remembers Kansas beating us by 1 million on the board in the tournament I think it was 52 to 27

Back then that felt like a down year, yet we were a 5 seed in the tournament and finshed 17th in the AP poll.

Never thought I'd say this but Celuck looked great compared to our current centers!

I miss Big East basketball. The game excitement and anticipation...Big Monday etc. No comparison.

Basketball in the ACC has been a disappointment for me. Hard to top those great Big East years.

Griffin was also a senior. Maybe we do need to have more patience with these kids...myself included.

But, yes, it can be depressing to see that a downturn year for us was an AP #17 ranking and a 5 seed in the tourney.

Unfortunately, you don’t see great seniors anymore. The level of play isn’t even close to twenty years ago. What jumped out to me was the level of athleticism that team has to this years.
