Have been in the Alamodome and agree it is a great locale and woud be a very nice site for a three day weekend.

Great location and venue. I'd be in.

As for UNT, agree that you wouldn't want to stay in Denton but you can stay in Far North Dallas/Addison instead of downtown Big D and it is an easy 35 min. drive there. Lots of bars and hotels in this area.

I'd stay in Cowtown and have a great evening at Sundance Square. It's just a short ride (45 minutes) up 35 to Denton.
