Yes
I gave you like for this, but having Uncle Vito as your avatar is questionable given that he's a convicted sex offender.
Geez sorry lol.I gave you like for this, but having Uncle Vito as your avatar is questionable given that he's a convicted sex offender.
3. The fit with Whitehead is a lot messier. He seems to come with big expectations and seems a more difficult fit chemistry wise. There would be a lot of more experienced sg's here - MG, Cooney, Buss, and even BJ. While it seems like we could use the offense, this guy seems to be one of those volume shooters. SU looks poised to have one of the top front courts in America in '14-'15 (espn had us at #2 this coming year and we look to be even better in '14) and would want someone that could recognize their role. I like the talent but have a hard time seeing him displaying the maturity it would take to accept a role that doesn't cast him as the star right out of the gate. The fit and role seem like a problem.
Joseph cut his list to 3; PC, WVU and us.
PC seems to be the favorite though
I agree. From the highlight videos, Joseph seems like a
Or, if Whitehead heads somewhere else, then this would be my preferred pick:
1. McCullough
2. Joseph
This will allow us an open spot in the spring in case any of the one-and-doners doesn't have a home.
A little confused about this. Doesn't Cuse have 3 spots for 2014 (with 1 belonging to McCullough)? So they have room for 2 more regardless of early departures.

Yes, I believe that's correct, we will have 3 spots for 2014 open assuming we only lose the seniors to graduation (Fair and Keita) and that Grant, Coleman, Ennis, etc. all come back and don't leave early. So McCullough is taking 1 of those 3, leaving at least 2 open scholarships for 2014. Given that, I would be ecstatic to get any 2 of the Whitehead, Newton, Joseph group. But if I had to guess, we'll end up with McCullough, Joseph, plus one open spot heading into the late spring. Which I would be totally excited about - a recruiting class of those 2 plus returning Grant and all our other players would make us an instant title contender! Returning all our eligible players plus adding Joseph would be much, much better than landing the highest ranked recruiting class combo of McCullough, Whitehead and Newton, IMO. But either would we'll be in great shape.
So have we given up recruiting Goodluck since this post and others seem that we will have either badluck or noluck with him?Louisville already has pretty good recruiting class for 2014. Here is my hope for 2014:
1. Chris McCullough
2. Isaiah Whitehead
3. Ja'Quan Newton
Or:
1. Chris McCullough
2. Isaiah Whitehead
3. Kaleb Joseph
I am concerned about McCullough backing out. He may already have a HS diploma but I have not heard anything about his summer classes.
I really hope the Orange get Whitehead. Whitehead says he no longer interested in Louisville because they got a commit from JaQuan Lyle. Whitehead says he has it down to 3 schools: Arizona, UCLA, and SU. He's going to visit SU again so I do not think Whitehead is a lock just yet.
Next is Newton versus Joseph. Assuming McCullough and Whitehead sign LOI, who would take next, Newton or Joseph.
btw, either of those two lists would be very successful recruiting class in my opinion. Here's what I think would be a disaster:
1. Chris McCullough
2. Goodluck Okonoboh
I have nothing against Okonoboh but I do not think Christmas or Coleman are going anywhere anytime soon.
btw, here's a really nice web page on Orange scholarship status:

Does one forget Carmelo so easily?Well said. If we return to another final four and Grant lives up to his potential I think he is the most likely to leave early. Who knows, maybe Roberson turns out to be the greatest freshmen player ever.
We're still very much in the running for Goodluck, but it sounds like there's a few other schools that are far more likely to land him than we are at this point, so the 3 recruits me and a few others have been focusing on are the 3 that have indicated they are most likely to come here.
