So last year we had Chandler Jones rise to the top of the NFL draft board.

It seems that Nassib is going to go relatively high compared to his ranking coming in and even where he was at the end of last year.

Do we have anyone that would be eligible for the 2014 draft from the 2013-14 team that could be the next riser on draft boards?

Bromley? Jerome Smith? Spruill?

Totally as an aside, CBS has Charley Loeb listed as the 12th ranked QB for 2014. I think someone over there has a crush on him.

They also have Macky as #13 center.

If anything, the Nassib (TBD) and Jones situations should show us that even our "best" prognosticators really don't know where guys will go in the draft.

That is no fun though, so I am going to go with Bromley as my safe pick and MPB as my dark horse.

Those lists are terrible ... why even bother ... nevermind its CBS ...

I like Bromley as well.

Would love to see MPB have the kind of productive year that would get him noticed. I think he can have a great year next year.

Come on - you know why, these lists attract eyeballs. Call them

Care to guess as to anyone that might be a legit riser on the draft boards?

Reddish, followed by Hickey, followed by CamLynch.

Huh. That Loeb ranking... is that for real?

Anyone who follows the draft knows that fickitall blogspot's rankings are the closest thing you can get to a real NFL teams big board.

That is a tough one ... I'd have to say Reddish ... he will be a JR and I think he has a ton of potential.

Not sure why I had that "call them" in my original response to you. Sorry about that.

Dwayne Davis

The coaching staff expects him to get his weight to 225 by the start of next season and improve on his electronic 4.54 40 yard dash which was in the top 10 or so of the entire team. One member of the coaching staff mentioned before the year that Davis is raw, ideally would be a redshirt freshman special teams player this year, but still has the chance to be one of the top 5-10 linebackers ever to play at SU.

Funderburk (hoping he and West can continue our stellar production at WR)

Quite the expectation and good to know. Hope it works out that way.

I'm really excited for Funderburk. Would love to see a guy who can dominate on those 50/50 balls.

I tried ... bitches won't answer the phone ... I left a message and told them to move Lobe up to #5 .. we're winning the ACC.

They got confused because Loeb gets a 12 on the 10 point attractiveness scale
