I just don't understand how you give Peralta a yellow on a clear red card tackle. Then you turn around and give a penalty on a flop! Such garbage officiating.

And to give it at the time he did! He basically stole the game from Costa Rica, or at least a chance at it on penalties. That's like a basketball ref blowing the whistle on a ticky tack foul away from the play with :02 left on the clock, game tied, and both teams in the double bonus. I hope that officiating team watches the replay and sends apologies to Costa Rica...:rolling:riiiight! That'll happen. More than likely the check from El Chapo is in the mail.

Speaking of the second most infamous Mexican next to Peralta...did anyone happen to catch the crowd close up of a boy with his mom, and the kid was wearing a T-shirt that said El Chapo? Someone please tell me that there is a real reason to have a shirt with El Chapo on it.
