9 ACC schools in the top 35 according to the coaches poll. The ACC is going to be a meat grinder. Best conference in the country

Because even though they lost two 5th year seniors and their best player who was an underclassman, they added two high quality grad students to a roster that includes one, maybe two likely lottery picks in next year's draft. Plus they made the final 4 last year so there's that.

I think January and early February we will see some losses as the defense develops. It seems whenever we have a bunch of new players the defense goes through a low period once conference play starts. We will dip in the polls but rise again in March.

No matter how good we are there will be rough spots in the regular season. Just look at the schedule. Gauntlet in Feb. would expect to play at least one more ACC team in the NCAA tournament also if we make any kind of run.
