[QUOTE="OrangeFoo, post: 1775752, member: 210"] I'd actually go more drastic... put him on the 60 day dl and transition Verett to full time starter. Tell Harvey to drop 20 lbs, work on his mechanics and rest his arm and get his head right. When Harvey is off the DL in July trade Verett for some hitting and hedge Harvey with Zack Wheeler who should be back by then I believe. Big sexy then gets to be a full time pitcher until the playoffs start. Of course this is the Mets and they have decided that they are going to run him out there again vs the chisox. At the end of the day I think Harvey is going to be fine... from everything I read it's a mechanics issue + an endurance issue not a health issue. I think if I'm the Mets I hope he pulls it out by end of the year and trade him in the off season for some parts... I want to know who the long-term replacements for Wright and Grandy are and I think we need a couple of catchers who can at least be big league average catchers and defenders. Of course this all assumes that we can sign Cespedes for another 4 years or so. The guys in the minors I know about are Rosario, Herrera and Dom Smith... it doesn't seem like any of the other guys are doing enough to be anything beyond replacement level MLB guys. I had hope for Reynolds but he hasn't made much of an impact. Cechhini seems to be hurt all the time, Nimmo seems to be a lost cause. I feel like the farm is a bit drained right now on +WARP guys.
