The only reason to use a microphone is if the room isn't big enough for the questionee to hear reporters speak. To provide audio for the listeners at home, they'd need to have audio from one microphone going into a pool feed. It would take time, effort, and more money than Cuse likely cares to spend to make this happen, especially for a 15 minute press conference.

Actually media sessions with coaches happen a lot more often than 15 minutes a year. They have done it in the past many times and you could actually hear the question. Time to be consistently good, not occasionally great.

I have no memory either way. But it could be the room they were in, etc. Also, don't forget that press conferences are for reporters, not for us. We get to watch, which is awesome. But ultimately, it's about media access.

Just having a respectful conversation, nothing more, and don't want to sound combative:

Trying to make a larger point with SU Athletics. Media sessions are for fans and the general populous. That's why media members have jobs ...to provide something to those who actually care. SU should have been on top of this 5 years ago and they still aren't.

SU also shouldn't misspell names on the backs of jerseys during recognition ceremonies, and they shouldn't have placed statues commemorating 44 right on top of a curb next to a parking lot.

And honestly, I'm not usually a complainer, but things like this have to be rectified

I'm quite serious - this is a super interesting philosophical question that I think about a lot. How much can we as fans claim ownership over? I don't have an answer because there isn't one, let alone a right one - but I do land differently on this issue.

In terms of the other parts of your posts - I totally hear what you're saying. I feel every program has its flaws and bugs and we only notice the ones that come out of ours.

I also was put off by this. So many better questions that Bailey could have asked. Julian's question was perfect.
