Rehire Butch Davis? The school needs to fully commit themselves to football. Donna Shalala tore down the program after getting caught with her hand in the cookie jar and now they're solely fixated on academics. They haven't given the program any money to succeed. Richt didn't have a true OC because he was calling the plays due to the pocket watching by the administration. The program is done until they infuse it with some cash. It will not matter who you bring in if they're climbing an icy hill.

totally agree, miami is looking terrible theselast few games .No excuse for those results with all that talent but but the age old saying 'ya get what ya pay for. CaSe of another private school goin cheap. Miami needs imo needsto be a player if the ACC is to get too the top

This was supposed to be the big season for Wake. At one point, they were 5-0 and thinking of beating Clemson and playing for the NC. They got to 7-1 and looked like a lock for the Orange Bowl, and a good chance at finishing in the top 10.

Then the bubble burst. They lost 4 of their last 5 games in the season, only beating a very bad Duke team after November 2nd. Wake looked very good on offense for a long time but their defense just could not stop a very bad Michigan State offense when it needed to. That injury to Surratt was a killer for them.

Miss State started out better than I would have ever thought. But then it was all Louisville. At one point in the 3rd quarter, I think Moorhead would have traded his OL for what we were using around game 6.

Quite a turnaround for the Cardinals. They had a huge crowd there today and really dominated the game after a slow start.

that game showed me why id like to see us with a more aggressive defensive scheme. The bend dont break d of Virginia failed them

The only change that is needed, IMO, is switching Louisville and Va Tech. UVa would then get Tech as its crossover game and Louisville would get BC. Greensboro is supposedly dead set against N-S divisions that are basically the Old Big East plus UVa against the old ACC.

wellif the refs dont blow another fumble replay for the 3rd straight game.. how do they not at least review a ball that clearly had something strange happen? but why doesnt VT call the TO and ask for it?

Lynn Bowden should have never been allowed to play after throwing that punch. The refs and officials associated with that game failed big time. Also, judging by the chain around his neck, if you looked into where he got it, he'd probably have retroactive ineligibility. That's at least 50K on him.
