you have to wonder if Pickard ever sees the field again at this point. so long since has been healthy
Yup. Agree, in general, it looks like each class is getting high quality athletes who are using their superior physical attributes to help overcome disadvantages with experience.
I don't have Butler starting. That is probably wrong. Seniors tend to get a lot of PT and touches in this system. Guys like Etta-Tawo, Ishmael and like Custis have all gotten a lot of love their senior seasons. It takes a while to learn all the responsibilities a WR has and become strong enough to beat press coverage consistently. Butler, like Custis, has had some issues most of his career, but I would not be surprised to see him overcome that stuff and have a fine senior season. Whether he starts or not, he will play a lot and get a lot of touches.
I passed Okechukwu walking up the hill before UNC as I was heading down to the Fine Mess. Now, I rarely see players up close, but he looked like a tackle to me.Butler has been passed over. None of the other guys were passed over. I find it hard to believe he starts next year unless he shows up a new man this spring.
Curious about Okechukwu. Why pencil him in at DT. From everything I know and have heard he's next in line as a rush End.
Lol I hear he is best we have now and bye a good margin. Only what I hear. My eyes haven’t seen it yet but if he is that good then he should start with Neal getting every third series. I admit when I am wrong but this won’t be it.Remember this post 10 months from now. To quote the Princess Bride - "We'll see who is right and who is dead."
You might be right. But a lot of people felt the same way about Jamel Custis at this time last year. Butler is still playing a lot of snaps and has had far more success to date than Jamel did at the same time. I amjust noting that history says given the option, Dino likes to play experienced, physically mature players at wide receiver. No question Butler is the best blocking WR we have and no question he has the physical tools to be an excellent WR.Butler has been passed over. None of the other guys were passed over. I find it hard to believe he starts next year unless he shows up a new man this spring.

2020 could be the true peak of the Babers offense right? Seems like pretty much everyone but Neal and Evan Adams will be back that season.
Hope he's a DT because we're going to need someone to step up there and take some of Slaytons's snaps. All we have there with experience is Mckinley, Black, and Ruff and that is a very physical position.Curious about Okechukwu. Why pencil him in at DT. I thought so too heard good things about himButler has been passed over. None of the other guys were passed over. I find it hard to believe he starts next year unless he shows up a new man this spring.

I agree i think its trill. Iffy is a lock down corner who i believe ends up starting.Very possible. Trill plays there a lot now and if he isn't starting at CB, he will probably start at nickel. So I just changed that. He is good good to sit.
I would like to see Elmore move to DT he is so athletic i think he would be a solid inside. Maybe Horan could take over his role as the lead blocker in our power set.I am very focused on this season, but one of the reasons why I don't think Dino will be going anywhere is the incoming players and outlook of our future. I think Dino sees we are just a play or two away from legitimately being in playoff conversation. Wild to think about, but Dino has worked so hard in 3 years getting our program to this position and we are just on the cusp.

I think we have learned that the ACC is a gauntlet. You have to play more than just starters if you want your team intact come November. Trill and Iffy and Fredrick and Bradshaw will all play a ton at CB, with Trill proably playing a lot at nickel too, if Cordy decides he has had enough.I agree i think its trill. Iffy is a lock down corner who i believe ends up starting.
