Might a bunch of them now do a post-grad year to improve their odds of being "discovered"?A lot of kids who would get an offer on the circuit just got screwed.

Not sure I follow. Its not like scholarships will suddenly disappear.A lot of kids who would get an offer on the circuit just got screwed.
It hurts kids that are about to have breakout summers or have gone unnoticed until the summer league stuff. Now those type of kids that havent had the exposure as some if the top kids it hurts as far as them getting opportunities to showcase their talents to attract high major offers...or any offer for that matter. It sucks all around. Kids will still get offered and so on but it definitely hurts certain kids who are ready to break out and get serious exposure from the EYBL league. Not sure I follow. They will get seen somewhere else. Makes it easier for some (especially the recruiting writers who get to talk to coaches on the circuit) but we had a JC coach from Florida show up to our streetball games in the suburbs of Toronto 20 years ago. If the talent is there, they will get found. It hurts kids that are about to have breakout summers or have gone unnoticed until the summer league stuff.
