I can admit I was wrong. I thought his chances to make a team were slim to none. To me, he didn't look as good as some other guys we've had recently that haven't stuck. Good for him.

Further, BC and Pitt have put out some HOF talent over the last decade or so. Some really great talent outta those programs.

I disagree that it's a snub of Cisco. Paris Ford is excellent. Cisco has been burned plenty. I have high hopes for him in his role in the defense this year but turnovers are very unpredictable, even though he has flourished in that department

Getting to the pros is hard. Staying is harder. SU has had a number of guys make the practice squad and the 53 man roster but couldn't stick for a variety of reasons. Steve Ishmael, Brisly Estime, Ryan Nassib, Shamarko Thomas, Amba Etta Tawo and Jay Bromley are all guys who had a cup of coffee if not multiple years in the league. Most NFL players are out of the league at the end of the first deal if not sooner. Yeah, the number isn't great, but it could be the basketball program which has a bigger brand, but can't get guys to stick.
