Short of an open first week or a shuffle of OOC opponents, there are no other options... unless the Dome is available to host an ACC opponent (GA Tech, Louisville or NC State). All ACC road opponents are booked that week, other than Clemson. Yes, it could be a Thursday game.

We’ve been told that the Colgate game will be the Dome opener on September 19th. If that holds, then week 1 will be at Clemson.

We assume at Clemson but it’s not close to official. It’s easy for Boston College to move Holy Cross from week 1 to week 5 and they could be the 6th ACC team to play a conference game week 1.
