2020 Yankees Off Season / Spring Training ...

Any guessed to the years/$ these guys will be looking for?

Obviously an ace is needed. Dare they even try to make a run at 2?

The Boss would have. His offspring? Not sure they will ink one, let alone both.

I miss George.

The Steinbrenner’s have given cashman the ok to offer Cole a record contract which is thought to be $250m+.

You're forgetting Ed Whitson. And Pascual Perez. And Andy Hawkins. And Dave LaPointe. And . . . .
Or maybe you're not.

And Dennis Rasmussen, and Rick Rhoden, and Scott Sanderson, and Tim Leary, and Chuck Cary, and Greg Cadaret/Eric Plunk doing the starter/bullpen shuffle.

Those were some good times when the Yankees were in the field.

Yeah, the best seats were always available. Still, Yankees had the best record overall in the American League over the 1980's if I remember correctly. Just that the years they won 90 games, another team won 90+. They really bottomed out in the early 1990's (The Mel Hall Years). Lucky for us that George was suspended and Stick Michael became GM during that period.

The days of Jesse Barfield moonshot HR's to swaths of empty RF (non bleacher) seats
