couple things here...

1. Suzyn is doing the Anthem because she once told Gerrit Cole that if signed with the Yankees, she'd sing it on Opening Day at the Stadium.

2. She sang it for Game 7 of the 1986 ALCS, which famously sent a certain team into infamy in NYC lore

3. One of my favorite pub trivia questions was 'Who sang the National Anthem at the Garden, the night of the OJ white Bronco?' obviously the answer is Suzyn, but always got a lot of Liza, Whitney or the venerable John Amirante as responses.
