Just always great stuff man. JT is an interesting case as you outline. I had pegged him as sort of a Mike G/Cooney hybrid but a Buddy/Rautins hybrid makes sense. Your point about defenses shutting him down is interesting. Having watched a ton of Gmacs games in HS, he certainly had his fair share of games he was taken out of or slowed down considerably as well. Now different positions of course but I always hold optimism in a kid working hard to overcome that and building those skillsets. I think having him as a really good passer adds huge dividends. Also if he is bought in, you look at how Buddy took a while to figure out how to unlock defenses it makes sense they see him in that role with the opportunity to expand year over year. Great stuff on Quadir as well. When I follow his recruitment it reminds me of I. Washington who we never really chased. He was flashy but smaller and as it turned out never really matured his game. At 6-6, Copeland presents with that upside and definitely a higher ceiling and game but with that extra flash and at times unnecessary showmanship too. So much to work with but the size and room to improve that is worth going all in on. JJ is so intriguing and would love to have him. With that said and admittedly no real good reason other than history, I get gunshy with a scoring guard who we see coming in and being elite right away. There was excitement with Kaleb Joseph , Jalen Carey and Bryce Goodine that eroded quickly and all 3 were of that flavor of player. I don't think they really touch what this kid is all about but the oh crap I don't want another (see above) is something that always comes to mind. Once removing that- give me this kid all day. To me he gets closer to the Dior skillset and being impossible to stop every time a new highlight tape comes out.
