The bigger issue is that the guys who eat innings Degrom/Max are not there right now and when the rest are 4-6 inning guys any given day, that stresses a bullpen.. You want to pitch 3-4 guys from the pen because of situational things not to just eat innings.. We are having to use guys every night since we cant anyone to get thru 7 innings. Peterson gave up 1 earned run and couldnt get thru 5 because he walked so many.. thats 2 innings of relief that have to be used., those add up day after day.
