Two Mets starters in that series 'screwed the pooch'. it's amazing that the Mets have done as well as they have with all the injuries to their starting pitchers: DeGrom out for more than half the season, McGill out for virtually the whole season, Scherzer on the IL twice, Carrasco the same and Walker missing a couple of starts.
