Gleyber Day
Yankees (W) | 85-56 | Sept 13-14 at BOS | |
Rays (L) | 78-60 | (-5.5) | Sept 12-15 at TOR |
Blue Jays (L) | 78-61 | (-6.0) | Sept 12-15 vs TB |
I think it's safe to exhale now. Ideally the Rays and Jays will split that series.

Yes. That last horse is out of the barn, but winning the division and having a top-two record in the AL is someplace they haven't been in awhile.Rays and Jays play each other 8 more times this season. Rays also have 6 against the Astros.
Yanks win those last 2 easily and all the pieces are coming back.
I think the storm has been weathered.
Catching the Astros (6 back in 20 games) is doubtful and an unfortunate casualty of the slide.
Yeah, finishing top-two is important now.Yes. That last horse is out of the barn, but winning the division and having a top-two record in the AL is someplace they haven't been in awhile.

Yes, getting people back and being able to field lineups similar to what they had in the first half would be great.Get many of the pieces back, already have some guys with more confidence at the plate, and this could be a fun playoff run.
Are Carpenter and Benintendi still possibilities to join in that fun? Assume both are long shots at this point. But everyone else (other than King and Chad Green) will be back?
