I think Ferguson is better than Peralta. I’ll give credit to the Cashman regime for seemingly always piecing together a decent bullpen. It's hard to see the Yankees going anywhere this season. The starting pitching outside of Cole is poor and now he will miss at least the first 2 months. The pen is going to go from best to bad. The reason it was so good was heavily because of Mike King and Peralta. They're both gone. Loaisiga and Kahnle are always injured. The host of new guys, mostly rejects from other teams, have all been getting pasted in their spring outings. The pitching needed to be upgraded but with the payroll already over the Cohen tax it just isn't financially possible. The reason the payroll is so high is because the team has a lot of "dead" money from bad roster decisions made the last several years. The Rodon signing is a real killer especially.
Even with his 21 HR, he was a below average offensive performer last season. It would be a shame if Volpe hits 9th.

Cashman really needs to learn from peak Patriots way of roster construction. Get rid of someone a year too early rather than a crippling extension. At this point, the Yankees should just reject the NIT bid in advance.
Same as the last few years. Maybe sneak into the playoffs (if fortunate) only to lose early on.Haven't paid attention to anything, don't know who's on the team - we gonna be any good, or nah?
Sounds boring.Same as the last few years. Maybe sneak into the playoffs (if fortunate) only to lose early on.
Basically what the team has done for the last 15 years.Sounds boring.
