dot com article SU admitted bidding - I think the bottom line is a new roof doesn't cure the venues biggest ill - the concourses are too narrow and in the world of COVID space is king. Oh and the wifi improvements are TBD.
It is a shame...the local economy could use a bump here.

From the perspective of SU fans, it is probably a good thing. Less bids for Syracuse means more bids for Buffalo and Albany. Venues where Syracuse can actually be assigned. So this is not all bad.

The suites aren't really suites either. Benches instead of chairs...

Little surprised not to see the Islanders new arena in the mix, or Barclays (unless I missed it).
