2023 FBS Private School Football Rankings - Week 7

Liberty's coach apparently gave his team a vote.

For the Strength of Schedule ranking I switched to Sagarin's ratings.
I'm still open to switching to something else other than schedule strength.

While a miraculous upcoming Saturday would be nice... I'll be happy if nobody gets hurt and the team reboots against VPI to start another winning streak.

I've been thinking about this private school D1 ranking thing lately, funny that all of a sudden I notice this post. I was doing some research yesterday and found...
We are essentially middle of this pack as a program.

Currently sitting with the 4th best record, but 6 teams ahead of us with better records. Many at 4-1.

Counting 2022 average attendance, we sit in 7th spot.

And for all-time winning percentage as a program, we also sit at the 7 spot.

All-time, we sit behind ND, USC, Miami, BYU, Stanford, and Boston College.

None of it really means anything, just interesting for sure.

Note: My list of private schools did not include Liberty.
