Sure there are a few LIV golfers that have went there purely to cash in and may never be seen again.   But the majority of competitors - especially those under 40 - that is their life nature and that is why they got here.  They are going to play hard in LIV even if the format is not very compelling to viewers.

The issue with LIV is the seasonal format and the same players over and over - it makes the competition from event to event not very compelling -- but many of these players I'm sure are still trying to do their best and win, because that is what they do.  Most of them are staying sharp.

Furthermore, many players rise up under the pressure - so some LIV players might be even more juiced by the majors.

Let's remember for golfers the biggest events are the majors.   This is what they ramp up for.   So whether you are in LIV or regular PGA events those are just events to tune yourself up as a competitor.

LIV has also kept their course set-ups for many of their events fairly tough - many events don't have crazy scores.   The set-up for most regular PGA tour events is no harder.
